I have been going to Jenni’s classes for a year and I would say that this practice has become a part of my life now. I look forward to going every single week. When I first started going to these classes I was not in a good place, although I’m not sure that I realised it at the time. I worked in the NHS, I was a new mum and I had an awful lot of anxiety; stress and I think perhaps I had a bit of a loss of identity. Jenni’s classes have taught me ways to manage stress and quieten negative thinking and as a result I have seen a huge reduction in the physical symptoms that I had. I used to suffer terribly with recurrent migraines, these have reduced significantly as have a lot of the physical symptoms of anxiety that I used to experience. All of this has been achieved through practicing yoga alongside relaxation techniques, EFT tapping, meditation and gratitude practice. I find it really easy to go into these states of relaxation now. As a result, I have felt empowered to make changes to my life, I have managed to get a new job! Something I had been trying to do beforehand but had never been fully committed to. I am more mindful in my everyday life, in my work, with others and I am learning to accept and love myself.
If you are thinking of joining a yoga class, I can’t recommend Jenni’s classes enough. The sessions are warm, friendly, full of love and laughter. The yoga is gentle and made suitable for all regardless of age and level of fitness. Jenni is a wonderful teacher who radiates positivity and peace and I don’t think it is possible to leave her classes without a smile on your face!
As I am a bit further on in my practice now I would add that engaging with regular practice has allowed me find out more about myself and address issues within myself. I find a lot of emotional release in practising now and use it to clear blocked emotions which often feels very cathartic.
